OK!'s NYC Fashion Week Blog: Nicole Miller

Can’t make it to NYC for Fashion Week? Don’t worry, OK!’s got you covered! We’ll be hitting up all the big shows and reporting back right here, every day, as soon as we tear our eyes off the runway! Tonight we had the pleasure of watching Nicole Miller under the tents at Bryant Park.

SHOW: Nicole Miller

WHEN: Feb. 12

WHO: Kelly Rutherford, Amber Rose, Richie Rich, and Beth Ostrosky

FASHION: Coined as "A look that is strength personified," and "Ready for the urban jungle," black was the signature color at Nicole Miller's fall 2010 fashion show. The color palette also consisted of camouflage accents, olive and ash and incorporated abstract references to New York. Leather detailed coats, exposed zippers, ruching, wrapped pleated dresses, asymmetrical cashmere pieces, sharp vests and an emphasis on sleek leggings and pants. A city building print appeared on skirts, and dresses. There was also some graffiti prints incorporated on the clothing. All models wore black wool caps to top off the look.

OK!'S NYC FASHION BLOG: CHRISTIAN SIRIANO

BEAUTY: Natural make-up, soft lips, long, loose tussled curls. Overall look was fresh faces, soft, classy and minimal. Hair was done by Kevin Ryan and make-up by James Kaliardos and MAC Pro Team.

COLOR/OVERHEAD: Upbeat music by MRWILSONDJ played in the background and was fun, vibrant and fitting to the show. Amber Rose did not do any interviews and was not accompanied by boyfriend Kanye West. She sat next to designer Richie RichKelly Rutherford and Howard Stern's wife Beth Ostrosky picked out the same Nicole Miller, white, sequin mini dress to wear to the show. The blond bombshells sat next to each other in the front row. Besides Kelly's Nicole Miller mini, she sported a large, clear-jewel necklace and hoop earrings also from the designer. She topped off her outfit with a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps.

"I adore her as a person and love her clothes," Kelly told OK! of Nicole Miller. "She designs for every women. I went in there tonight to pick out something to wear and it was tough. She has such great things in there. Very wearable. In the same way as a Tory Burch — you go in and have to choose what to wear because it's all pretty great."
