There are some celebrities who cling to a LBD for every single red carpet occasion. Lupita Nyong’o is definitely not that girl. The Oscar winner, who broke out in a career role for 12 Years a Slave, used the press tour to display her clear instinct for the colors of the rainbow, often showing off designer gowns in the prettiest of blues, greens, purples, and a chrome metallic Lanvin dress at the Non-Stop premiere that we still haven’t gotten over.
You may have wondered if this sensational marathon of bright hues and printed garments was going to be shockingly replaced with only neutrals, at which point we’re certain we’d be, yes, yet again completely enamored by her choices. Has this happened at all?
It’s now June and the star is doing summer style right, with bright, geometric prints and playful colors that all scream vacation. The key to stealing Lupita’s style is investing in a strong palette of colors, that we know is true. But if you’re tired of wandering around the mall, searching for something that makes you feel like Cinderella in a precious baby blue, you might just want to pick up this dress, a design the celeb chose to prance around in while taking Instagram pictures.
The kaleidoscope-print dress of black, white, pink, yellow, and green (and paired with adorable, walkable flats) is by Mara Hoffman, and unlike all those Kate Middleton dresses that are still sold out, it’s available online now!
And who wouldn’t mind owning the same frock at this leading lady?
