It’s a good thing Countess LuAnn de Lesseps of The Real Housewives of New York City is joining forces with OK! to school them on the right thing to do! In a rough situation, we just ask, “What Would the Countess Do?” This week, the countess chimes in on Christian Bale's trouble in China and Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards' unusual family vacation.

Christian Bale was chased away by Chinese government guards after trying to visit human-rights activist Chen Guangcheng without permission. A Foreign Ministry spokesman said Christian should feel embarrassed and not China. Who should apologize for the scuffle or is it best to just move on?
Christian Bale decided to pop in (with a camera crew in tow) on Chinese activist and prisoner Chen Guangcheng and was chased away by guards, so it’s not surprising that the Chinese Foreign Ministry was a bit miffed with the actor. As for Bale needing to feel embarrassed, it is the Chinese government who should be ashamed for imprisoning Guangcheng for exposing the government’s policy of forced abortions and sterilization. While Bale’s visit was a bit misguided, his commitment to human rights is admirable and he shouldn’t just “move on” but continue to bring awareness to Guangcheng’s struggle.

Charlie Sheen went on a "Modern Family Vacation" with his ex-wife Denise Richards and their children, which turned a lot of heads as being "weird." Is going on vacation with your ex a good way to keep the peace?
I think it’s great that Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards decided to vacation together with their kids. It’s possible that they enjoy each other’s company more now that they aren’t married and I’m sure that their children are happy to spend time with both parents. We still have family dinners when my ex-husband is in town and our children enjoy being together as a family.
Tip: Sometimes when the marriage ends, the friendship begins.
