Unlike most celebrities, Jill Zarin is a breath of fresh air when it comes to revealing the truth behind her cosmetic procedures. The Real Housewives of NYC star, 47, comes clean about why her face looks different, and how she feels about getting older.
“I am very surprised by the controversy that my new look created!” she tells me. “Truthfully, I had absolutely no plastic surgery to my face, no cutting, no nose job. I have done Botox and filler injections and have a new makeup artist, Jim Crawford, who has worked with Halle Berry, Julianne Moore and Carmen Electra. He totally transformed my look with his very creative makeup and hairstyles. He gave me a new look and I feel beautiful and confident.”

Despite the pressure to look good on camera, Jill admits she was the driving force behind her beauty revamp.
“I did this for myself, to make me feel better about my appearance,” she confesses. “I feel better than ever.”

While aging is inevitable, Jill believes in looking good as she grows wiser.
“I feel wonderful about getting older,” she says. “We all age and I encourage women to feel good about themselves, regardless of their age and weight. If there is something you want to do to feel better about yourself, whether it be plastic surgery, injections, makeup, a new dress, I encourage you to do whatever it is that will make you happy. I feel better than ever at my age, and want my fans to feel great about themselves as well.”
