Good news for John Walsh! Although Fox canceled his weekly show, America’s Most Wanted, this past spring it looks like it will get another life to live. Lifetime has picked up the show and it will return to the tube later this year to nab criminals.

According to Entertainment Weekly, in a statement John indicated, “I’ve always believed there was something very special about America’s Most Wanted and that there should be a home for it on television, and I couldn’t be happier to now be able bring it back on Lifetime.”

He added, “We’ve often been called the court of last resort…now we are back in the game and ready to saddle up for another season to get justice for victims and put dangerous criminals behind bars.”

OK! NEWS: AMERICA’S MOST WANTED CANCELED BY FOX AFTER 23 YEARS

Talk about a show that has made an astounding impact! Since it began airing in 1987, American’s Most Wanted has helped capture more than 1,100 fugitives in the U.S. and 30 countries. This includes 17 on FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List. Bravo!
