Maybe Bachelor fans were still traveling home from the holidays last night or maybe they're getting tired of the track record the show has with actually having contestants staying together? For whatever reason, they didn't show up to watch last night's premiere of Ben Flajnik on The Bachelor.

OK! NEWS: BEN FLAJNIK ALREADY DEALS WITH TONS OF DRAMA ON SEASON PREMIERE OF THE BACHELOR

Okay, some did.

But the ABC reality show did see a significant decrease in viewers for their 16th season.

According to New York Magazine's Vulture, The Bachelor averaged a 2.4 rating in viewers under 50 last night.

So, what does that mean?

The show dropped 17 percent from last year's premiere.

OK! NEWS: THE BACHELOR IS BACK! READY FOR BEN FLAJNIK TO HAND OUT ROSES AND BREAK SOME HEARTS?

Do you think the ratings drop was just a fluke for the premiere or have you lost interest in watching The Bachelor?

Despite the low ratings, it sounds like Ben, 29, is promoting the show on his Twitter.

"Thanks to all the excited people!" he wrote. "#TheBachelor is gonna be great tonight!"

Hopefully it gets even better!
