Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie visited Bosnia on Monday in order to highlight the 117,000 people who have still not been able to return to their homes since the Bosnia war ended 15 years ago.
While Brad and Angie tried to showcase the refugees in Bosnia they tried to keep themselves hidden from the spotlight as there were no reported media sightings on the two there, the Associated Press reports.
Aida Prljaca, the spokeswoman for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Sarajevo said the couple arrived Sunday evening.
Around 7,000 people live in refugee centers throughout the country and 110,000 others live with relatives or in rented housing, since their homes have either not been rebuilt or the infrastructure in their villages has not been repaired.
Angelina, who is currently filming The Tourist in Italy with Johnny Depp, has been the UNHCR ambassador since 2001.
She will be visiting projects meant for Bosnians who can’t return to their homes.
