Chuck Lorre has just addressed Charlie Sheen‘s $100 million lawsuit against him, and the Two and a Half Men creator isn’t happy. Chuck and his camp dismiss all of the allegations Charlie cited in the suit, and the producer’s main concern is his former pal’s health.

Chuck’s lawyer, Howard Weitzman, told TMZ, “The allegations in the complaint against Mr. Lorre are as recklessly false and unwarranted as Mr. Sheen’s rantings in the media.” He then added, “These accusations are simply imaginary. This lawsuit is about a fantasy ‘lottery’ payday for Charlie Sheen.”

He also maintained that “Chuck Lorre’s concern has been and continues to be about Mr. Sheen’s health.”

Charlie and his team filed the suit yesterday against Chuck and Warner Bros. The 45-year-old actor is demanding he get paid for the eight canceled Two and a Half Men episodes, and he’s also suing on behalf of the cast and crew of the hit CBS sitcom, plus punitive damages, for a grand total of $100,000,000.

The court documents, obtained by TMZ, begin with Charlie’s lawyer, Marty Singer, stating the following: “Chuck Lorre, one of the richest men in television, who is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, believes himself to be so wealthy and powerful that he can unilaterally decide to take money away from the dedicated cast and crew of the popular television series Two and a Half Men in order to serve his own ego and self-interest, and make the star of the Series the scapegoat for Lorre’s own conduct.”

Singer alleges in the suit that “Warner Bros. [capitulated] to Lorre’s egotistical desire to punish Mr. Sheen …” and that a conspiracy existed between Chuck and Warner Bros. to blame Charlie for the termination of the hit CBS sitcom.
