Cirque du Soleil has signed a deal with the executors for Michael Jackson‘s estate for a new show.
Starting in fall 2010, Co-executor John Branca told TMZ the show will travel throughout North American and even stop at the Staples Center in L.A. where Michael’s memorial was held.
The show will reportedly feature Michael’s famous dance moves and songs — Cirque du Soleil style!
Then a second show will open in 2012 in Las Vegas partnering with MGM Mirage and include more technology and 3D effects.
According to TMZ sources, Michael’s estate and Cirque will split costs and profits down the middle, making the show worth a lot to the estate.
“It will be a theme-park-like show,” Branca said. Sounds just like Michael’s taste!
