Although Amber Riley's rendition of "I Will Always Love You" on the Valentine's Day episode of Glee was outrageous, it just wasn't enough in the eyes of the show's producers and co-creator Ryan Murphy. The hit FOX show is currently working on a Whitney Houston Tribute episode, which will celebrate her music and feature eight of her classic songs.
Whitney's hits will appear in an episode about the McKinley High School seniors struggling to say goodbye to each other before graduation.
"Starting a new episode today," Lea Michele Tweeted yesterday. "A very special tribute to one of the worlds most amazing singers. Very excited about this one," later adding, "Singing a really great rendition of one of my favorite songs today with @MsAmberPRiley @NayaRivera and @chriscolfer :)."
Glee is no stranger to tribute episodes, recently doing one for Michael Jackson and previously dedicating storylines to the music of Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Madonna.
