Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, had a total of three losses last night, and of the five biggest film franchises ever, it is the only one to never win an Oscar.

Does the Academy have something against Quidditch and sorting hats? Not one of the Harry Potter stars was even in attendance to present an award last night.

The film was nominated this year for Art Direction, Makeup and Set Direction but sadly Hugo and The Iron Lady stole those away.
