Jennifer Aniston has responded to Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly after he described her comments about single motherhood as “destructive to our society.”
“Of course, the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age,” Jennifer said, reports E! Online.
“Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on earth,” she continued. “And, of course, many women dream of finding Prince Charming, with fatherly instincts, but for those who’ve not yet found their Bill O’Reilly, I’m just glad science has provided a few other options.”
In her latest movie, The Switch, Jen plays a single woman who decides to have a baby without finding a man first.
“I don’t think for me personally that is something that I want, but again I say you don’t rule anything out because I don’t know what’s going to happen anymore,” she recently said about getting pregnant via a sperm donor.
“I could walk out of this hotel and meet the man of my dreams or get hit by a bus. Anything is possible.”
