"Girls Gone Wild's trade identity and trademark are extremely valuable assets which my clients protect vigorously,” Joe’s lawyer David Houston wrote in a cease and desist letter obtained by E! Online, which was sent to the “Like a Virgin” artist, NBCUniversal and the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell this week.

According to the document, David claims that Madonna has, "violated Federal and State trademark laws,” with the title of her still unreleased track and therefore, should not perform the number on stage this weekend.
