With the upcoming release of the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides set for May 20, star Johnny Depp recently opened up about working through a back injury that he got while shooting the much anticipated film.

Regardless of Johnny’s back issues, the 21 Jumpstreet actor worked through the pain and proved that he was more than dedicated to finishing the franchise’s fourth installment.

“I kept shooting; there was no choice. I’d just limp on set. It was monstrous, man — so horrible that I actually started to like it! It was bad, and I had it a good three weeks to a month. But I got used to it and kind of missed it when it was gone,” the 47-year-old explained to THR.
