Ah, the good ol' internet. Every now and then, death hoax rumors circulate and a celeb has to defend him or herself attesting they're alive!
Well, Jon Bon Jovi was the latest star to fall prey to the rumors. As for what was the rumor exactly? According to E! News, the fictitious story had the rocker/actor/philanthropist dropping dead via cardiac arrest.
Not only that, it actually had specifics by saying he was found unconscious in an Empress Hotel room in Asbury Park, N.J., and was later pronounced dead at the Jersey Shore Medical Center.
So false, false and let's say it again: False!
Although the story became a trending topic on Twitter, the record was set straight on Facebook to say that he's alive and well. Not only that, a photo of Jon was posted with a sign he held that read, "Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey."
The Facebook message continued, "Rest assured that Jon is alive and well! This photo was just taken."
