It’s official! Jon Hamm is locked into channeling Don Draper on the hit show Mad Men through season seven. Not only that, he’s getting a raise to boot! The newly inked contract with Lionsgate Television Group has Jon committed to the role for three more years.
According to Variety (via Huffington Post), he’ll get a hefty raise for the fifth season and by the end of the lucrative contract, he’ll take home more than $250,000 for each episode!
Originally Jon was locked into season six of the show but the new deal will keep him in Don attire throughout season seven. Looks like he’s not the only man from Mad Men who’s in it for the long haul. The series creator, Matthew Weiner, signed a contract back in March for season six and possibly seven.
