On Friday, the Associated Press reports the verdict was finally reached on Elizabeth’s abduction case.

When Elizabeth was 14 years old, she was taken from her home at knifepoint by Mitchell, a former street preacher, and held captive for nine months.

Elizabeth, now 23 years old, testified during the trial that she was forced into a polygamous marriage and suffered nearly daily rapes.
