Justin Bieber might be short in stature, but he more than makes up for it in record sales.

Believe, the Biebs' fourth studio album that dropped on June 19, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 this week and managed to sell an impressive 374,000 copies. The Boyfriend singer even beat out Madonna for the top selling, first-week album of the year.

Madonna's MDNA was only slightly behind at 359,000 copies.

This should come as a relief to Justin, not that he ever really lacks in confidence, but carrying a tween base into adulthood (even though he isn't fully there yet, either) is never an easy feat and he knows as much.

Earlier this month during a visit to The Today Show, he expressed worry over becoming "just another teen heartthrob."

"I’m 18 and I have a lot of insecurities. At the end of the day, being in my position doesn’t get rid of those insecurities,” he told Matt Lauer. "I think [this album] is about proving people wrong and going out there and making good music, and going out there and performing better than everyone else."
