What better way to kick of 2012 then with a gift from Justin Bieber? The pop star revealed on Twitter today that he is releasing a special track with pal Jaden Smith, 13, to ring in the new year at midnight!

“U know what..to say thank you for an amazing 2011, me and @officialjaden are releasing a #NewYears song at Midnight. #COUNTDOWN,” Justin tweeted on Saturday afternoon.

Along with the surprise track, Justin also wanted to thank his devoted fans for supporting him throughout such a great year.

“New Years is starting all around the world. so to all my fans around the world…THANK YOU FOR 2011 and Have a Great 2012. I LOVE UI got a special performance coming tonight. #NewYears.”

The 17-year-old is also set to perform live at Times Square in NYC along with other guests Lady Gaga and Pitbull as a part of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with host Ryan Seacrest.

“@justinbieber so ready I'm already here, see u in a bit,” Ryan tweeted to the “One Less Lonely Girl” singer before the ball drops on 2011.
