Ode to the royals! Not only did she earn a spot on the International Best-Dressed List in 2008, it looks like the Duchess of Cambridge (a.k.a. Kate Middleton) is here to stay by being named to this year’s list as well. Although it’s hard to imagine her in the same sentence with Lady Gaga and her outrageous fashions, they were both given the nod, along with other celebs like Carey Mulligan, Armie Hammer, Justin Timberlake and Colin Firth.
Vanity Fair announced their 72nd International Best-Dressed List which includes a variety of royals across the pond, celebrities and notable names. While Kate dazzled us with her wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, among her other outfits for her svelte frame, more royals rounded out the list such as Princess Charlene of Monaco, the King of Bhutan, Princess Alexandra of Greece, Countess Matilde Borromeo and Prince Antonius von Fürstenberg.
In addition to royalty, let’s not forget celebs! Justin, Colin and Armie are all first-timers on the list whereas Carey is a second-timer. Similar to Kate, this is the second time Lady Gaga has made the list and in an unprecedented move, NBC News anchor Brian Williams entered the list’s Hall of Fame.
