Kate Middleton‘s gorgeous Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding gown will be on display in all its glory beginning this weekend at Buckingham Palace!
“It’s absolutely fantastic, I mean, it’s lifted, having the Duchess of Cambridge’s dress there, has lifted the whole exhibit,” Victoria Mather, Vanity Fair contributing editor, told CBS News.
“What you can see with the dress is the incredible detail that was done at the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court,” she explained. “There are little roses and daffodils, and thistles for Scotland, daffodils for Wales, roses for England and shamrocks for Ireland. They are the size of a dime.”
But Kate’s dress isn’t the only item on display from the royal wedding! Her shoes, earrings and five tiers of the original wedding cake are all there to be admired as well!
Tickets for the exhibit, about $29, are selling out quickly.
