It might look like all fun and amazing dinners, but maintaining an ideal weight is tough to do while filming a reality show like The Bachelorette‘s Ali Fedotowsky. “I was always hungry!” Ali tells OK! in this week’s issue about how she packed on 10 pounds during the show. “I didn’t think much of it, but everyone noticed.”

So how did she change her eating habits at home to shed those extra pounds when the show was done?

“I am good during the week, and one day I pig out,” Ali tells OK! of her eating habits. “But I don’t cook! I am learning a little bit because it can be hard to eat healthy when you don’t cook. I love egg white omelets because I can actually cook the egg whites myself!”

When even turning on the stove is out of the question, Ali gets inventive to stay healthy.

“I also go to the grocery store, and I will buy the ready-made grilled chicken breasts from the deli counter,” she explains to OK!. “I buy four or five at a time, and I’ll have them with a salad — a prepared salad from a bag.”
