Happy first day of the 2012 London Olympics!

The United States swim team is ushering in the 2012 summer games with tribute to none other than (Canadian) Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe."

The team said they created the spoof in order to "blow off steam," and if you want to see Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte bop their heads and sing along to bubblegum pop, than look no father than the do-it yourself video the team spliced together inbetween swimming laps and pounding protein.

"This is one of the best teams I've had the opportunity to be a part of! We are having so much fun!" swimmer Missy Franklin Tweeted with an attached link to the video.
