After seven weeks apart, Prince William and Kate Middleton reunited after he arrived home from official duty in the south Atlantic with the rest of his Royal Air Force Search and Rescue helicopter crew.
William flew into Britain this morning after a six-week mission in the Falkland Islands. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will meet at their Kensington Palace cottage, where Kate, Queen Elizabeth and puppy Lupo will be waiting to greet Prince William.
Wills will have several days off, which the couple "will spend privately," a spokesperson revealed. Then, the Duke of Cambridge will return to his post in Angelsey, North Wales after his short leave.
This was the longest they have ever been apart, but Kate didn't stay away from the spotlight. The Duchess helped the Queen celebrate the Diamond Jubilee, appearing at many royal social events and making her first public speech at a children's hospice center in Ipswich.
We're so happy they're together again!
