Aww, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart got to practice being parents together in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn! Kristen Stewart got to experience motherhood and learned that lifting children requires a lot of strength, while Rob on the other hand discovered he really likes working with babies!
During the Twilight press conference at Comic-Con today, a reporter asked the cast what was the most awkward scene to film.
“Occasionally I couldn’t pick up the kid sometimes,” Kristen (Bella) said (via Celebuzz) of having a play a mother to her daughter with Rob’s character Edward.
To that, Rob busted out laughing.
“They were different!” she said. “We have Mackenzie Foy, who is like the coolest kid ever, then we had these other little girls who would play the younger version of Mackenzie … They are bigger than me in some cases.”
“You probably want an answer like ‘to do the love scene was weird’ but, no,” Kirsten added.
So, it’s a good thing she has her strong man Rob by her side to help her out!
When Rob was asked by a young fan if he liked having babies with Bella.
“The look on your face makes me think you’re asking something else,” he said with a laugh. “No I do. I really like babies. I like doing scenes with them too. It was really fun… especially with this series as well. You’re playing this statue-esque guy most of the time. Can’t be hard, but he has the baby and it makes everything more human.”
“And babies, in terms of acting with it, they just do their own thing,” he added. “It’s more fun. You’re basically improvising.”
