With much speculation on who will be directing the final installment of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, one of the stars of the highly anticipated film is providing Twi-hards with a little insight! Kristen Stewart confirmed to MTV news that heavy-hitting directors Gus Van Sant (Milk), Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation) and Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) are all in the running!
“I’m glad that’s out and about,” Kristen told MTV news about the directors. “I didn’t know that was something that people knew.”
We still want to know whether Breaking Dawn will be made into two feature films!
KStew said she is very excited about the directorial candidates.
“I think it’s awesome,” she said. “I think it’s so cool that they’re reaching. I think any one of those people would be great.”
Robert Pattinson recently told MTV News that Gus Van Sant would be a great choice because of the setting and the content of many of his previous films.
“He shoots everything in Portland. He’s good at making it look beautiful,” Robert said. “It’s [Breaking Dawn] all about teenage love and obsessions. I think Gus Van Sant would be great.”
