After winning Artist of the Year at the NRJ Awards in France last week, what's next for Justin Bieber? Well, if you believe Alec Baldwin, it's hosting Saturday Night Live!
Alec revealed on his podcast that Justin is going to host later this year. During an interview with SNL creator Lorne Michaels, Alec (via the Washington Post) referred to a cork board that listed the season's roster of hosts. “The biggest names in the business are coming here thirtysomething years later to host the show," Alec said.
"You have Ben Stiller, Melissa McCarthy … Katy Perry's coming and Jimmy Fallon … Jonah Hill and, I don't want to ruin any other names, [but] Bieber's confirmed, he's the music and the [host]."
Although Justin hasn't been officially announced, it would seem very likely that the singer, 17, would be up for the challenge. Justin's already been the musical guest on the show and acted in a hilarious sketch with guest host Tina Fey (catch it here).
He's also scheduled to release his new album, Believe, this spring and is currently in the studio working on it. He Tweeted, "still a little tired. back in the studio today with @Timbaland working on #BELIEVE . until then #powernap"
