TVLine has confirmed that the actor has just been cast as Blake Lively's love interest for the final season of Gossip Girl.

Barry will play an entrepreneur named Steven Spence. As you may remember, last season ended with Serena van der Woodsen in a very precarious place — she lost her friendships with both Blair (Leighton Meester) and Dan (Penn Badgley) and ventured off on a train looking to get high.
Will Barry's character be the one to get her back on the right track... or will he be a bad influence?
