As their wedding date approaches, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo might want to include a baby carriage on their registry. The 35-year-old The Voice mentor and his soon-to-be wife are planning to start a family as soon as they’re done saying "I do!" "Adam and Behati want to have a baby right away, and can’t wait to start trying," an insider tells OK!.

The Maroon 5 frontman has said in numerous interviews over the past few years that he loves kids and is eager to have a family of his own. He even told Piers Morgan in 2011, "I don’t think you necessarily have to be married to have children." But Behati, 25, comes from a religious family, and "marrying first was important to her," the insider reveals. That means after their July 19 nuptials in Mexico, all bets are off!

The couple—who met in May 2012 and reunited after a brief split in early 2013—will wed in an intimate ceremony at the Hotel El Ganzo in South Africa for a honeymoon, where they are hoping to conceive their first child. "The main focus will be trying for a baby, which Adam is thrilled about!" says the insider. "And Behati is dying to be a mom!"
Behati is also embracing the idea of parenthood. The insider says that the stunning Victoria’s Secret model has been reading baby books and learning about different birth plans online to figure out how she’ll want to deliver.
