Adam Levine may be a mentor on The Voice, but now he's also a mentor to the stars. The Maroon 5 frontman is launching his own record label, called "222," and he has officially signed his first artist — Glee's Matthew Morrison!
“Starting my own label has been a long time goal of mine and I am thrilled to be at the point in my career where it is finally happening,” Adam shared in a statement. “I am excited for everyone to hear Matthew’s forthcoming album. Great things are in store for him with this release.”
Matthew, who went from stealing the show on Broadway to stealing viewer's hearts playing Mr. Schuester on Glee, will release his sophmore album under 222, due out this spring.
“I am excited to be working on my next album with such an incredible singer, writer and producer as Adam Levine," Matthew said. "Adam and I share the same vision as we begin working on my record together.”
Wow, what a duo! Are you excited to hear the final product?
