British singer Adele certainly isn’t shy when it comes to her pipes and in the lastest issue of Rolling Stone the Grammy winning artist opens up on her fluctuating weight and even experiencing stage fright!
Here’s the scoop: Adele admitted she doesn’t worry about what she looks like or her fluctuating weight for that matter. She told Rolling Stone (via PopEater): “My life is full of drama and I won’t have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like.” Plus, Adele indicated she’s not exactly a gym rat either. “I don’t like going to the gym. I like eating fine foods and drinking nice wine.”
While she has no problem with singers who flaunt their trim bodies like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, looking good to Adele isn’t as important as sounding good to her fans. “I don’t make music for eyes. I make music for ears,” she noted.
Considering the Grammy winning artist makes music for ears and to perform in front of fans, here’s one tidbit which may shock you: She experiences stage fright! “I’m scared of audiences,” she confessed. “One show in Amsterdam I was so nervous I escaped out the fire exit. I’ve thrown up a couple of times. Once in Brussels I projectile vomited on someone. I just gotta bear it. But I don’t like touring. I have anxiety attacks a lot.”
