Despite a recent interview in Playboy where Alec Baldwin said he would love to run against Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman in 2012, the 30 Rock star's rep says he has no real plans to move there or run for office.

Matthew Hiltzik said Monday that Alec wants Sen. Lieberman to stay in office because there are so few moderate Republicans in the Senate, the Associated Press reports. Sen. Lieberman was re-elected as an independent in 2006 after he lost the Democratic primary.
