Alexa Vega, 'Spy Kids' Star, Files for Divorce

Aside from big divorce news a la Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, other stars are breaking the knot as well.

Alexa Vega has filed for divorce from her film producer hubby, Sean Covel, as noted by The Sun Times. The Spy Kids star was married for less than two years.

Just last year, Alexa gushed to OK! about Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald's nuptials and how they like to double date "all the time." She added, "Our boys are boyfriend and girlfriend," she said. Nikki chimed in, "They are! They are boyfriend and girlfriend."

Now that Alexa and her Napoleon Dynamite producer are breaking up, it looks like the foursome buddies will probably be shaken up as well.
