Ambulance Crew Thought Tiger Crash Involved Domestic Violence

According to new documents released by the Florida Highway Patrol, the ambulance crew involved in Tiger Woods‘ November car crash thought it was a domestic violence incident and wouldn’t allow Elin Nordegren to ride in the same ambulance as Tiger.

The FHP trooper who responded to the crash scene wrote in the document, “As the paramedics loaded [Tiger] into a Health Central Ambulance, one of the crew stated that [Tiger’s] wife could not go in ambulance because this was a domestic,” TMZ reports.

The officer, according to the document, “never heard [Tiger] speak or [Tiger’s] wife make any such statement about domestic violence.”

The document also reports that Elin gave two bottles of pain pills to troopers after the crash.
