After a series a explosions at the Fukushima nuclear plant brought dangerous levels of radiation to the area, Anderson Cooper and his CNN crew were forced to evacuate the area.

The second part of his show had to be canceled on Monday night and Anderson took to his Twitter to explain why, Huffington Post reports.

According to Huffington Post, Anderson and his crew were not the only ones having to evacuate the area. BBC, ITN, Sky News and other international crews were also forced to flee.

Anderson Tweeted prayers to those who had to stay in the area and hopes that he and his crew haven’t been exposed to the radiation.
