Beyoncé confirmed to E! News that she'll no longer star in the remake."I was looking forward to the production of A Star Is Born and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood. Now that the Grammy winner's not in the picture, a new leading lady needs to be cast. Clint explained, "We've talked to several people, and we probably won't address that one till next year."

Although he commented that Bey was "great," it seems their schedules didn't seem to jive. It looks like the movie has pretty big shoes to fill -- previous versions included starlets Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand in the leading roles!
