The holidays are rapidly approaching, which means it's time to rev up your workout routine and burn those extra turkey and stuffing calories.
Thankfully, celebrity fitness guru Jake Steinfeld has released a series of sweat-inducing music compilations, Body by Jake Music, that will ease you into an extra mile or two on the treadmill.
Not a big runner? No worries. Jake's crafted a few options for pilates, spinning, walking, lifting, yoga and kick boxing by matching bpm (beats per minute) with each exercise.
“Let’s face it. Exercise can be boring,” Jake admits. “But with great music, it can take the edge off of any exercise routine. Music has the power to stimulate, inspire get you to go that extra mile, do that last set of reps and reach or go beyond your goal. We want you to look forward to your next workout because the music, your experience and results are that good.”
His most contemporary mix includes songs by Fergie, Lady Gaga, LMFAO and Jessie J., but he's also compiled an 80s, disco and Motown mix to match whatever music might strike your fancy.
