UPDATE—Tracy Morgan Leaves Hospital and Heads to Rehab

UPDATE: As of Friday afternoon, June 20th, Tracy Morgan has left the hospital and begun recovery in a rehab facility. According to his team, Tracy is expected to remain at the undisclosed location "for a few weeks" and despite his getting better, he still "has a long way to go."

UPDATE: As of Tuesday morning, June 17, Tracy's rep told the public that his condition has been "upgraded to fair condition, which is  a great improvement." The rep also added that "his personality is starting to come back as well."

UPDATE: As of Friday morning, June 13,Tracy has been showing signs of improvement. His spokesperson released a statement to the press saying that the doctors are "optimistic that his recovery is progressing" and that "today was a better day" than days past. Good to hear! In other news, Kevin Roper, the driver who is being charged, has plead not guilty to his counts of death by auto and assault, even though Tracy's friend and fellow comedian, James McNair, was killed in the crash.

UPDATE: As of Sunday, June 8th, Tracy remains in critical condition but is improving. His spokesperson said that Tracy is "more responsive" today but suffered broken leg bones, a broken nose, and broken ribs and is expected to remain in the New Jersey hospital for several weeks. Meanwhile, truck driver Kevin Roper, who allegedly started the collision which led to the chain-reaction of crashes, has been charged with four counts of assault by auto and one count of death by auto.

Tracy Morgan of SNL and 30 Rock fame was in a multi-car accident early this morning in New Jersey, according to various media outlets like CNN.

Tracy was riding in a limo bus along the New Jersey Turnpike when it got overturned. Police say another vehicle might have rear-ended it and that seven people are currently hospitalized with injuries. Unfortunately, one person involved in the accident has passed away.
