From the looks of it, the rumor that Britney Spears will become a judge on The X Factor next season will become a reality pretty soon!
OK! NEWS: SIMON COWELL WANTS BRITNEY SPEARS ON THE X FACTOR — "I'M FASCINATED BY HER"
An inside source told The Hollywood Reporter that her fiancé and agent, Jason Trawick, is currently negotiating a contract which could be a done deal as early as next week.
Simon Cowell originally approached the pop princess because she would bring the real thing to X Factor since critics say the show lacked a successful recording artist as a judge last season.

A few weeks ago, Simon didn't confirm discussions began with Britney, but hinted there were going to be "a lot of twists and turns over the next few weeks and a lot of things we're going to announce."
Perhaps one thing they'll announce will be her big, juicy paycheck. According to E! News, Britney was offered $10 million to sign on the dotted line, but she's holding out for $16 million instead!
To prepare for sitting alongside Simon and L.A. Reid, apparently Britney is currently a student! A student in media training, that is.
Two additional hosts haven't been identified, but another insider told The Hollywood Reporter that the ideal newest edition will likely be based in L.A. and has had success in the music business and maybe a parent who is looking to spend more time with his or her kids. Sounds like an ideal fit for Britney, no?
