Well, the Dancing With the Stars host isn't going to go through it alone. She's already scheduled the surgery and confided in her partner in crime on the show, Tom Bergeron. Yesterday on The Talk he dished, "She knows my love and support are with her. We're all right there with her."

Plus, revealing that he's known about it for a few months, he comforted Brooke by telling her he's had experience with this in his own family.

He added, "You never want to hear the word 'cancer,' but thyroid cancer is one of the most treatable cancers. It has an incredibly high success rate."

And although one of Brooke's fears is being scarred on her neck as a result of the surgery, he reassured her that's not necessarily going to be the case.

"In the hands of a very good surgeon, as I'm sure she has one, the scar doesn't necessarily have to be that visible," Tom pointed out.
