Bruce Springsteen's New Album 'Wrecking Ball' Will be Released on March 6

After all the buzz and rumors, the day has finally come for Bruce Springsteen fans. The big news about his next album.
The Boss' new record will be called Wrecking Ball and will be released in less than two months on March 6, according to Rolling Stone.

This will be Bruce's first album since he lost a member of the E Street Band, his beloved saxophonist Clarence Clemons passed away in June.
His manager, Jon Landau, revealed in a statement, "The lyrics tell a story you can't hear anywhere else and the music is his most innovative of recent years. The writing is some of the best of his career and both veteran fans and those who are new to Bruce will find much to love on Wrecking Ball."

Not all of the music will be new to die-hard fans. Per Rolling Stone, two of the tunes have been performed on previous tours. Bruce played the title track regularly throughout his Working on a Dream tour. And "Land of Hope and Dreams" was first performed on the the E Street Band's 1999 reunion tour. Still, there are nine brand new songs on the album.

Bruce and his band will kick off a world tour in March.
