The Television Critics Association (TCA) Awards were held last night, and Louie and Homeland were the biggest winners: each show took home two awards. Louie snagged Best Comedy and its star, Louis C.K., was named Best Comedy Actor. On the dramatic side, Homeland won the Outstanding New Program award and Claire Danes claimed Individual Achievement in Drama.
Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad hosted the Beverly Hills ceremony, but he also had reason to celebrate: the AMC show was named Drama of the Year.
Other winners include Game of Thrones (Program of the Year), Downton Abbey (Best Miniseries), So You Think You Can Dance (Best Reality Show), Switched at Birth (Outstanding Youth Program) and 60 Minutes (Outstanding News Program).
In addition, David Letterman was bestowed a Career Achievement Award, and in the throwback Heritage Award category, Cheers took top honors.
Congratulations to all the winners!
