Chace Crawford Arrested for Possession of Marijuana

The gossip on Chace Crawford is not good. The Gossip Girls star was arrested early this morning for possession of marijuana.

UPDATE: The back-up press officer for the Plano Police Department tells OK!: "Chace Crawford was charged with a Class B Misdemeanor ed. note: one step above a traffic ticket, according to the officer. The maximum punishment for this is: a fine not to exceed to $2,000 or confinement up to 180 days in a county jail or both."

Jerry Elliot, manager of Ringo's Pub, which is near the parking lot where Chace was arrested, tells OK! that, as far as they were aware, Chace wasn't at the bar last night: "I've asked around the people who were working, and nobody even saw him in there.

"We're in an area with a bunch of bars and clubs, and we just happen to be in the back where the parking lot is."

Cops confirmed to TMZ that Chace was arrested in Plano, Texas just after midnight.

The actor was reportedly busted in a Ringo's Pub parking lot for possession of marijuana under two ounces, which is a misdemeanor.

According to sources, Chace was in a car with a friend and cops found one unlit joint.

He has bonded out of jail, but he still looks pretty hot in his mug shot even when he's mad!
