The marriage of Chad Johnson and Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada is officially over.
Their union imploded less than six weeks after they tied the knot when the football player was accused of assaulting his new bride.
And now just over a month after Chad was arrested for domestic violence, their short-lived marriage is officially over after the former couple got a quickie divorce.
"It was a very simple process," his lawyer Adam Swickle told RadarOnline. "They are formally divorced in the state of Florida. It was a three to five minute hearing and that's the end of it."
The couple had filmed the lead up to their July 4th nuptials but the TV special was cancelled after Chad allegedly head-butted Evelyn in a car during a fight when the reality star apparently found a receipt for condoms in a car he had recently used.
Chad had tried to save his marriage to Evelyn by getting a tattoo of her face on his leg and wearing a T-shirt which had "I Just Want To Love You" emblazoned on it.
But it's reported that Chad has already moved on and had a sleepover with mistress Bianca Zuluaga recently and then went to IHOP together the next morning.
Chad's domestic violence charges are still pending and he is currently unemployed after being dropped by the Miami Dolphins.
