Chicago Bears Gaines Adams Passes Away Due to Cardiac Arrest

At the age of 26-years-old, Gaines Adams of the Chicago Bears passed away this morning of cardiac arrest according to new reports.

“We are stunned and saddened by the news of Gaines' passing. Our prayers are with his family during this difficult time,” the Chicago Bears spoke of their teammate as reported by TMZ.

The defensive end was taken to the Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina and proclaimed dead at 9 AM, TMZ reports.

Coroner James T. Coursey of Greenwood County revealed that the preliminary autopsy showed that Gaines’ death was caused by cardiac arrest due to anenlarged heart according to TMZ.
