Chris Brown may have ruined his reputation after he was arrested the night before the Grammys in 2009 and charged with felony battery on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, but it seems that the 22-year-old has finally found his way back to the top.

RadarOnline.com is reporting that Chris will be attending the Grammy Awards on Feb. 11, 2012, for the first time since that fateful night — and might even be performing!

"Chris has grown tremendously as a person and an artist from that time in his life,” a source close to the singer tells RadarOnline.com. “Chris has complied with all terms of his probation and has completed most of his court-ordered community service. He has been a model probationer, but more importantly, Chris accepted responsibility for what he did. Chris took that experience and vowed to learn from it and become a better person, and he was thrilled and truly humbled that he was nominated for three Grammys."

"Chris absolutely plans on attending the Grammys and is in talks with producers of the show to possibly perform," the source adds. "Chris performed at the MTV Video Music Awards several months ago, and his performance was simply over the top as he was flying through the air like an acrobat. Chris' performance stole the show, and he would love to do something at the Grammys to top his VMA performance."

Rihanna will most likely be attending the awards show as well, since she is also nominated for several Grammys, including Album of the Year for Loud. Luckily, a judge had eased the terms of the restraining order that was placed against Chris, so he can be in close quarters with Rihanna at events and shows.
