Lady Gaga is standing strong behind her pal Clarence Clemons after the news broke that Bruce Springsteen's mainstay saxophonist, and member of the legendary E Street Band, had suffered a stroke over the weekend.

"Little monsters, my very close friend +musician on The Edge of Glory, Clarence Clemons is very sick. Can we all make some get well videos?" Gaga Tweeted.

The 69-year-old saxophonist of the E Street Band is “said to be seriously ill after a stroke at his home in Florida,” according to Showbiz411.com, via TMZ.

The report claims that members of the E Street Band were “advised to get down to Florida as soon as possible” to see their pal.

Most recently, Clarence collaborated with Lady Gaga on her hot new track “Edge of Glory,” off the album Born This Way. He performed with her last month on the American Idol finale.
