David Schwimmer has truly moved on from Friends. The new movie he’s directing, about the danger of internet predators, is traumatizing tough guy Clive Owen and they haven’t even started filming.

“It’s a deeply unsettling and upsetting movie,” Clive tells the UK’s Daily Mail newspaper.

“Maybe it’s because of the age my girls are, but it’s a hot topic at the moment, and something that people should be aware of.’

Clive, 47, is the star of Trust, which is being directed by 42-year-old David, about a schoolgirl groomed by an internet pedophile.

“I play the father of a 14-year-old girl who establishes a relationship on the internet with someone she thinks is a young boy,” he explains.

“Eventually he comes to town and he’s a 45-year-old man,” says Clive, who is father to Hannah, 12, and 10-year-old Eve, “and he takes her to a hotel and it ruptures the family.”
