Not technically. Ryan, who confirmed that both Jessica Lange and Zachary Quinto would be returning for season two, admitted that although some of the cast members may be taking a break, it doesn't mean they won't be back! "Anyone can pop up at anytime," Ryan teased. "The Harmons were exhausted, let's give them at least one season off."

So with that season off comes a new gig for Connie  — who we will always consider Tami Taylor…Texas Forever!  She will star in Nashville alongside Hayden Panettierre, Jonathan Jackson, Powers Boothe and Robert Wisdom

Connie will play Rayna James, a once-popular country star who teams up with rising star Juliette (Hayden) in an attempt to fast track her career. (Reminds us of Country Strong, in which Gwyneth Paltrow teams up with hottie Garrett Hedlund).
