Daniel Craig: "I've Been Trying To Get Out" of the James Bond Franchise For Years

Careful, Daniel Craig — you don't want to sound ungrateful.

With today's release of the 23rd Bond film, Skyfall, and the news Daniel has signed on for two more flicks, it's all but assured we're going to see a lot more of the British actor narrowly escaping explosions and romancing a string of pretty ingenues in the future.

That doesn't mean the man playing Bond is happy about it, however.

"I've been trying to get out of this from the very moment I got into it," he told Rolling Stone. "But they won't let me go, and I've agreed to do a couple more, but let's see how this one does, because business is business and if the sh*t goes down, I've got a contract that somebody will happily wipe their a** with."

While he may feel penned in as Bond, the critics seem to adore the latest installment using words like "thrilling" and "ideal" to sum up the movie encapsulating the 50th anniversary of the franchise.

"It's quite good," Daniel said himself of the flick. "It's got a lightness of touch and a wink to it, because, after all, this is a James Bond movie, for f**k's sake."
